Grechetto from Umbria I.G.T. “Poggio dell’Annunziata”
This wine is obtained from 100% Grechetto grapes coming from one of our vineyards located near an ancient Monastery called SS. Annunziata. Soon after the harvesting, the grapes are taken to the wine cellar, slightly pressed and put in a tank togheter with their skins and some dry ice. In this way the fermentation process can’t begin.
After about 36/48 hours, the grapes are put in a press in order to make the fermentation process start. The 25% of the product is preserved in barrique of French wood for about four month and then added again to the rest.
The final result is a white full-bodied wine.
Good to be drunk even after one year after the grape-harvest.
Bottle of 0.750 lt.
