ROSSO DI MONTEFALCO D.O.C.

Obtained from a mixture of Sangiovese grapes (70%), Sagrantino grapes (15%) and Merlot grapes (15%). Soon after the harvesting, the grapes are taken to the wine cellar, slightly pressed and put in a tank, together with their skins, for about 14 days. During the 15th day they are pressed with a pneumatic press. After this first step, the wine goes into barriques made of French oak and stays there for about eight months before the bottleing. Montefalco Red is ready to be bought about 18 months after the grape-harvest. Full-bodied wine, can be drunk even several years of aging.

- Bottle of 0.750 lt.
