“VIGNA LA FORNACE” RED WINE FROM UMBRIA (I.G.T.)

Obtained from a mixture of Barbera grapes (40%), Merlot grapes (40%) and Sagrantino grapes (20%).The unusual presence of Barbera is due to its presence in Umbria until the 70’s. Soon after the harvesting, the grapes are taken to the wine cellar, slightly pressed and put in a tank, together with their skins and some dry ice. The fermentation process starts. After the pressing, the wine goes into new barriques made of French and American oak and stays there for about seven months.

Full-bodied wine, usually sold about two years after the grape-harvest.

Bottle of 0.750 lt.
